Restriction of Traffic on Hosur Road Elevated Tollway

Bangalore Elevated Tollway Private Limited has completed more than 8 years in its operations and maintenance of Hosur road elevated tollway. There will be maintenance activities on the elevated tollway for the next few months, starting in December, 2018 until up to 15th of March, 2019.

The instruction to carry out the maintenance of expansion joints came from the National Highway Authorities of India (NHAI). Both sides of the tollway is open to two-wheelers, cars, and light motor vehicles (LMV).

However, entry of heavy vehicles, Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) buses, Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) buses, State Express Transport Corporation (SETC) buses, private, and buses hired by private companies will be allowed only on lane leading towards Electronics City.

Traffic Plan

At one time, both lanes of one side of the carriageway spanning 1.5 kilometers will be closed for maintenance activities. During this time, traffic will be diverted to one lane of the other side of the tollway. The 1.5 kilometer will be properly barricaded from incoming traffic.

We regret the inconvenience this may cause!

Traffic will be smooth barring the restricted length of the tollway.
